Dear colleagues,
The echoes of the success of the first congress of the Romanian Society for Vascular Surgery (RSVS) still linger in our memory. We are most pleased to launch a new invitation to meet again in Sibiu for the second Congress of the Romanian Society of Vascular Surgery, on October 20-22, 2016.
Our society is extremely active in promoting our field of specialization: it has become a member organization of the European Society for Vascular Surgery; it is responsible for the national registers of European vascular surgery; it has taken insistent steps to modernize the curriculum of vascular surgery and it has contributed to the implementation of priority action for the endovascular treatment of patients with acute vascular lesions.
It is precisely for this reason that we propose that the main theme of the congress to be an inspirational one: Vascular surgery at the time of change. We will be discussing first and foremost the latest endovascular therapies, but also the daily problems we face in our professional activity, in order to find better solutions for our patients.
The Congress will be held at Hotel Ramada, which has proved to be a most welcoming host. The workshops organised so far have enjoyed great popularity, thus we are pleased to announce that they will be presented as precongress events.
The society belongs to each of us and therefore participating in this meeting is essential. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Sibiu and we hope that, besides the beauty of the city and its surroundings, you will be delighted with the high quality scientific program and its immediate applicability in your daily practice in the operating room.
